I have had cars in where 1 pump failed and lucky we were on the dyno watching the A/F and stopped the run before shit blew up.

yes, because then you won't notice it and could run lean during a pull correct?

You want so that if a fuse does blow or something, that both pumps turn off. the worst thing is if 1 pump stays running.

I was going to just hook them up in parrallel, to a wire going straight to the battery.

I guess in the beginning I didn't take amperage into consideration, just figured I didn't need those extra couple volts to get better flow, because with 2 pumps I'd flow plenty.

the normal 20amp relays, fuses, fuse holders, etc aren't big enough some times.

When we do twins on Supra's we have to goto bigger 30AMP stuff.

Most ppl have even a single pump rewired.
