that's what my old one had because my roommate snapped the stud where the 12V wire landed at. But the JB Weld never did hold. I filled it up before hopping on LSE's dyno once, and it was leaking from where the JB Weld was.
I am curious though as to what is the best way to run a new wire through the cover plate, but make sure everything is still sealed up and won't leak. Some kind of water tight cable grip or something?
