i know for certain that S2k injectors turn off when decelerating while in gear, they come back on around 2k rpm's to catch the car from stumbling in the lower RPM's.

yea it does, you get better mpg on decel than at idle

my understanding was the duty cycle went way down more than if you just push in the clutch and roll everywhere

letting off the gas, with it in gear only pulls vaccum from the motor-injectors are still firing.
