Are there any pictures anywhere of this car?

AJ had some pictures of it in the links that he posted. It is the blue 1g with the big ass Godzilla BOV.

That car was sweet. Reid and I were walking around with a guy (sorry, didn't catch your name) but he talked to the owner of the blue car, and he said he fabbed up everything himself, including the manifold, full exhaust, and he welded up the cage.

Are you sure that wasn't Kyle's blue car? I know he fab'd it all up himself, but I didn't think the other guy did.

Positive, unless the guy talking to me and reid was lying or the guy who owned the car was.
The car I am talking about was the one way down on the end toward the tents, had a crazy curvy heat wrapped manifold, battery disconnect, cage, chrome wheels, vented hood, giant turbo, menthanol injection, all sorts of other crazy stuff, and a giant BOV.

The other guy did. He's an automotive engineer, and a really knowledgeable guy.

Here is a good pic of the 1g DSM that took 1st:
I think the owner is leaning against it, Mark Leasure.

Yup, that him and it. That was a sweet looking car. Someone said Shindley built some of it though.

Re: All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show -- August 19th, 2006
I just want to clear the air. I now know how rumors get started.
I fabricated/modified everything on the car myself. I have been into DSM for just under a decade. Rick only helped rebuild my transmissions, this was many years ago, now I do all of my own work.
I’m an electrical engineer not an automotive engineer. I am a member of SAE though if it makes any difference (for work).
The PTE GT4067R is big, however not like the monster GT42R. The way history goes I’m sure I will be updating it to a 42R. I think 700 HP causes enough problems as it is, I cannot imagine what 900 or more would do.
It was a great show thanks to all who put it on.

I thought it hadn't been on a dyno? I think you better come to the dyno shootout and back that number up!
I am happy with my lowly 3rd place, but I hadn't done anything to the car except run it through a car wash.

It is a good guess, it was for conversation sake. It has not been on a dyno and it probably will never be on one.

I didn't mean you were one by trade, but don't you have an automotive engineering degree? As far as I care, if you have the degree you are one
