Re: Pistons

Too bad..I was going to suggest NPR pistons. On eBay they run just under $100 all day long. The largest bore size I can find is 85.5mm.

Good luck with your search.

Re: Pistons

Dumb question especially considering how much i deal with engines lol...but these Engine techs think theyll shoulder 500wheel? Next will i be able to mate a stock/ or similar to the OE piston to any after market rod that is based of a floating pin? vs our stock pressed ones? If that makes any sense

***By the way shout out to Mitsu style our forum is way better then MN SUBARU bunch a freaks on their half of them dont know jack about their own cars sigh**

Re: Pistons

Thank you, i guess ill have to keep looking...make no sense to get something that will just fail soon if they could solidly hold up to 4-450 i would take my chances but that does not look to be the case. The search goes on. I might post on the national intrawebs

Re: Pistons

Nippon Piston Ring Co. (NPR) made the OEM pistons for DSMs so they should be the same quality as stock, don't detonate or you'll break shit either way, stock 6 bolt pistons are like glass when it comes to detonation also, but the OEM pistons have held 755awhp before, broke a wrist pin though, amazing what good tuning can do lol.
