Re: Warrior Dash

I did it last year. It was at Afton Alps and essentially what you did was run up and down ski runs for 3 miles. I was expecting more fun stuff i guess.

The GF is trying to talk me into doing the tough mudder which is like 10x the insanity, but i'm not so sure i need that in my life!

Re: Warrior Dash

I did it last year and pushed pretty hard. It was about six kinds of awful running up and down that ski hill. I swore I wouldn't do it again without being in much better shape. I'll probably skip july and go in September.

Don't get me wrong, it was fun, but do yourself a favor and get in shape. I was in OK shape and all I wanted to do was vomit/pass out. I've never run up a grade that long/steep.

Re: Warrior Dash

I'm sorry, this event just seems like a big joke. I see pictures of super muddy people jumping over little fire piles high fiving, and I just laugh.

Maybe last year when I was a mover. Ultimate stamina. Now, not so much.
