Does anybody know very much about the emissions system in dsm's? I've been doing a little studying of my dsm manual cd and was wondering if something with the emissions might be causing the misfire my car is pained with? I eliminated the egr valve and plugged the vacuum line and this didn't help at all. Now I'm wondering what the purge valve and solenoid control and if they could have some effect? Also I've noticed that overnight my car looses fuel pressure and that on these real cold days it starts really hard if at all the first turn of the key. Any new thoughts?

I don't believe so, I think there'd be fuel stains on the manifold around a leaky injector, which there are none. I also know for a fact that they all ohmed out ok...although that says nothing about them leaking.

Process of ellimination
You could just swap in another set and see if it takes care of the problem or send them off to have them checked.
