WTB 1g awd trans

I have a '90 tsi that needs a tranny. I won't be doing it until the spring but I figured I would try and find one now. Let me know if you have one for sale. Thanks!

2nd gear is shot.

Edit: I would be interested in a non-stock tranny also such as a Shep, TRE, ect.

Talking Re: WTB 1g awd trans

Well it used to grind and was hard to put in gear, so I avoided 2nd but now it simply doesn't go into gear or grind. Just want a solid tranny

Re: WTB 1g awd trans

I've got a 91 tranny that's pretty decent. It would take a few extra 91 parts like the cables and shifter to work in your 90, but those parts are cheap and easy to find.

You should let me take a look into it, I may be able to help you out. Its also a good idea to have a spare too with these transmissions if your putting down good power.

Yeah definatly. the car is in storage for now but once it gets warm enough and no more salt or snow you can take a look at it.

I mean let me take a look at it as in you pull the trans, and I open it up and diagnose your problem. If I work on my trans I do actually rip it apart while mine is in my car, but thats my car
