Carbon Fiber Hoods

I want to get a carbon fiber hood, but there are so many to choose from. I'm looking for an OEM look, but I've seen hoods with a scoop right in front of the bump. Anyone know what I'm talking about and maybe where I could find one?

OEM is the best look imo. Some of those other ones seem to get a little ricey for me.

Re: Carbon Fiber Hoods

Don't get a VIS hood. I worked on a car a 2g nt that had a terrible body kit and a VIS cf hood. The thing fit so badly that I could squeeze my finger between it and the fenders on both sides, and my whole hand between the hood and bumper.

Re: Carbon Fiber Hoods

I paid justover 300 for mine new, it fits pretty good not 100% but 97% but that could be my fenders as well, so it still looks sweet as hell

How would you mount a hood scoop infront of a bumper ? But here is a webpage for you.

Bump, not bumper. I've seen it as well, but don't really see the point to having a scoop pointed right at my timing belt.

My bad. I have seen them too, but the CFH did not come that way. The person modded. I find it silly to put a hole where you timing belt is located. It does nothing for the car excpet make sure that debis gets near your timing belt.

Re: Carbon Fiber Hoods

that would be great if the kid didnt have a timing belt cover, then when he drives by just throw a hand full of rocks at the scoop. LOL
