1991 5 speed Talon TSI AWD + free Ford Exploder

Hey guys, I'm trying to up my style a bit and go towards a 2g dsm. So FINALLY I got my car running and now I want to see what I can get for it. The car has 187,000 miles on it, but has been repaired and all the needed maintenance has now been done.

I just got done fixing
-The head was removed at some recent point and a few bolts either worked themselves loose or just weren't replaced,(thus missing all the lower intake mani bolts and had one broken exhaust stud) All of which have now been replaced
-Brand new starter
-The radiator was brown and brittle I advised to replace it, (once removed I noticed the top hose neck had cracked off, and was clamped past the break) So I put a brand new radiator in it
-the Injector seals were leaking on two injectors(replaced all injector seals)
-the knock sensor "existed" but the wire leads had been torn off, So I put a brand new knock sensor in it
-the Idle stop switch was not there, and the lead to it had broken off,(installed new spade connector)
-the coolant temp sensor wires had cracked/corroded/broken, re soldered new connectors and such,
-the transmission does not shift well into 1st gear, shifts fine in all others,
(Im about to put in an extended fork into the slave cylinder which will fix this problem)

MODS
Eco 3 16 g turbo
660 fuel injectors
255 fuel pump
2g hacked maf
SAFC 2
3" exhaust
MBC
ACT FLYWHEEL
ACT 2900 PP
AEM street disc.

GOOD
new rebuilt head and transmission-just flushed trans and replaced fluid with syncromesh.
2 new front struts
new upper strut mounts.
new front lower ball joints
new front outter tie rod ends
new u-joints
boost gauge and 3 pillar pod
new passenger side axle
new pioneer 6x9's in the back and rockford 4" up front
new Diamond Crystal Clear headlights in it

Put them on Photobucket, then use the [*img*][*/img*] (without the *) code to put them here.

Make sure you like 2gs before getting rid of your 1g nick. I was thinking the same thing until I actually drove one, and learned 6'4", 220lb guys don't fit too well in 2gs..haha

So according to your first post, there is nothing wrong with this car at all? Drive straight, all the shocks are good, brakes are good, everything works, no leaks, nothing? You fixed this thing up from when you first got it and made those topics?

Correct...putting new tires on and dyno tuning today. The tranny grinding issue will be fixed today or tomorrow once I get out to map and buy a extended for for the slave cylinder.

Good to see you're putting this thing back together in good running form. I would be interested in taking a look at it for my friend.

Most recent pics. 107k. I'm the second owner. Oil changed every 3k, recent trans and power steering flushes done. Will come with stock wheels and tires and no subs.

It has a few "mods" done to it. I cut the muffler off and have a cone open air filter on an aluminum adaptor.
