Re: My Winter Upgrades
Did you have to grind away or modify anything to get yours to fit?

Re: My Winter Upgrades
No I just popped mine in. Had to seal the H4 bulbs I put in though.. with silicone since the rubber cap wasnt so great. I had hid looking 100 watt bulbs in there. haha
The beam pattern was good on low beams but highs sucked... I did have to modify the wiring but those adapters you got work better.

Re: My Winter Upgrades
I had some H4 bulbs in a vw scirocco, but they weren't re-wired or something needed to be done, but they were really dim. As long as you get 'em bright, they should be pretty sweet.

Re: My Winter Upgrades
My galant uses these kinds of bulbs from the factory. Peter, got any pics of what yours look like? I didn't really get an adapter though. I just cut off the stock connectors, and Pete got me some H4 pigtails, and I just soldered them on, heat shrank em, made it look purdy.

Re: My Winter Upgrades
They are the same size. I got it for $30 of ebay. The thing I like about them is that instead of having a TB elbow attach to it, you just clamp a coupler right to it.
Also took the old FIAV/ISC blockoff plate off of my old TB and put it on this one. QPR ni66az

Re: My Winter Upgrades
oh i see, that good, cause then i would have a boost leak, but then you have to buy new hardware too right, cause u will need shorter bolts.

Re: My Winter Upgrades
Yes I will. I plan on changing a lot of my hardware this winter though. ACE right up the road has a pretty good bolt selection I think. I'm going to probably switch to some black hardware were I can. Possible socket head bolts if possible.

Re: My Winter Upgrades
Well headlight housings have been ground, and headlights are in and functioning. Right now they have some blue light bulbs in them, which they came with. I'll see how they work, and if they are crap I'll just put in some normal ones.

Re: My Winter Upgrades
Just did some more work on the baffling I will be putting in to try and keep the air going through the radiator. Also building a small scoop underneath to scoop some air up in from under the car, in to the radiator.
