WTB A MHI td05 turbo

My 50 trim turbo went out on my and I dont have the money for a hightech turbo at the moment so Im Looking for any td05 turbo. has to be in good condition meaning no shaft play and no cracks. Lookng for a s16g or a b16g or a e316g would be badass but a nice 14b will work. Let me know how much you want for what you have. If you have any other turbos that are a direct bolt on to a 2g maniflod let me know. Thanks Dan

Re: WTB A MHI td05 turbo

I have a Mutt 1. If you haven't been around that long it's a TD05/Garret hybrid turbo made by a company that isn't around anymore. Garret for every thing but the exhaust housing, that's 7cm TD05. It's just a little bigger than a Evo3 16G. The compressor outlet has a 90 to the passenger side. It won't be a full bolt on like a 14G/16G though, but since you had a 50 trim some things might match up ok.

$250 and I can take some pics if you are interested.

Re: WTB A MHI td05 turbo

There is a small crack above and below the WG. In decent shape, no in/out (axial) shaft play, maybe on the high side of normal side to side shaft play, but DOES NOT Hit the housing. It's been on my shelf for years (5+) so it should tighten up a bit with some oil ran through it. Had an adapter on the outlet side to I think 1/2 NTP. Sorry I didn't get a good pic of that, I can if you need it.

^^ If he doesn't buy it, I'd be interested in the fittings off of it. If you're willing to part with them that is.
