Brake Pad Suggestions!!!
I want a better than OEM type pad for good highspeed stopping, aggressive driving, and good street manors. I've been reading on Tuners other people's experiences, and I've narrowed it down to these: Axxis Ultimates, Porterfield R4-S, Hawk HPS or HP Plus (Don't know which would be better, worried the HPS would have too poor cold performance for a DD). Any suggestions?

Re: Brake Pad Suggestions!!!
Why are you driving at high speeds? Isn't that dangerous and illegal?

Re: Brake Pad Suggestions!!!
I use the Axxis Ultimates and I really like them. Not much dust either, so that is nice. The price is good too.

I've got hawk hp plus and I have no complaints. I'm not doing and auto x or street racing, but they work great for my dd.

Porterfields R4-S is my suggestion for a good performance street brake pad.

I really recommend getting something low dust. I went with the EBC Greens which were supposedly low dust. I was always cleaning the wheels trying to keep up with it.

I just put on the Hawk HP Plus pads and I love them so far. I'm also just using them on a DD, but they work great!

Re: Brake Pad Suggestions!!!
I know there's a thread on this from a while back when I was thinking about which pads to get and where.

Re: Brake Pad Suggestions!!!
I used to have some metal masters on my first DSM... those worked pretty well, but I haven't really tried anything else.

Re: Brake Pad Suggestions!!!
I went with kracka's suggestion about a year ago and got the Porterfields. I like them way better my previous ones (cheapos), but I think they dust a bit.

Should have shopped one of the local shops, probably could have saved a few bucks even.

Re: Brake Pad Suggestions!!!
I buy most stuff local that I can! JEEZ I just gave MAP a chunk of change. I didn't see axxis listed on their website, and with 2nd Day Air shipping it will be here probably sooner lol!
