1996 Toyota Camry LE

YEAR: 1996
MAKE: Toyota
MODEL: Camry LE
MILES: 209,548

DESCRIPTION:
Up for sale today is my family's 1996 Toyota Camry LE. It's been with us since 1999, and has been the family beater ever since. My parents just picked up a newer Camry, and are selling this one. Most recently, it's been my oldest brother's beater car. It's never let us down, and looks like it will run another 100-200K.

The good:
- Runs, drives, has heat, CD player (JVC), clean title in hand.
- Recently renewed tabs for 2011.

The bad:
- Has some rust around the wheel wells, little spots by the top of the windshield, and some "spots" on the roof. Small dents and dings.
- There is a crack in the glass by the top of the driver's side. It's been like this for 3-4 months.
- My brother backed his Yamaha XS650 into the driver's side fender. When opening the door, it hits the fender.
- The passenger side fender was hit very slightly in a hit and run, as a result, the washer fluid reservoir is cracked, and doesn't hold washer fluid.
- Trunk gas lift is out.
- Tires need to be replaced sometime soon.
- Driver side door handle snapped off partially, you can still open the door, I have a replacement handle if you want to install it.
- Mushy suspension, pretty common strut/Camry thing.
- A/C needs to recharged.

My brother really beat on it all winter and until now, but it drives and just won't quit. It's not the best looking on the outside, but it would make a great daily driver if you're on a budget, or a great winter beater.

Asking $1300 OBO. Parents are just looking to get rid of it soon.

Drop me a PM if interested.

Bump. I drove through one tank of gas on it this week and it drove great!

Haha, I should ask my dad if he wants a new, sporty daily driver.

Re: 1996 Toyota Camry LE

I've got a few interested buyers through Craigslist, but I thought I'd see if anyone here is interested. $1000 firm for anyone on the boards.
