Stock vs aftermarket

Do aftermarket standard bore pistons expand the same amount or more than stock pistons?

Re: Stock vs aftermarket

A stock or hypereutectic piston will have a lower coefficient of thermal expansion due to higher silicon content. Pistons forged from 4032 or 2618 sacrifice low expansion for other desirable properties.
