Pool
Anybody feel like getting a pool game going sometime in the next few weeks? It's a pretty good cold weather activity, and being that it's cold outside... You get the idea.
I think Shooter's in Burnsville is a decent place to go, but I know that's kind of a haul for some people. Anyone know of something more centrally located, with a low occurence of shootings?
I'm open for just about any weekend, or even a weeknight. Except for next week, I'll be out of town.

Re: Pool
Low occurrance of shootings? LOL, I guess Jimmy's Pro Billiards is out of the question then. There's Billiard Street on University and 68th? They have decent tables. I have yet to find anywhere with really nice tables.

Shooters is to far of a haul for me in the winter.

Re: Pool
Shooters doesn't have pitchers, but I liked playing there when I was a regular.. Been a few years since that.. There's also one other you guys could consider, off of Little Canada road and Rice theres one in a mall called Coliesum Billiards that's pretty nice, not sure if they serve booze or not though..
Just thought I'd throw that one out there for you guys, it's pretty centraly located.

Re: Pool
Is this an offer open to all the DSMStyle people? My woman and the kids fly out Saturday morning so I'll be looking for things to do after work until Thursday when I fly out. I haven't played pool much since high school, but I can still talk shit!
BTW, I shoot back.

Re: Pool
If it's only a couple of you guys, I just moved into an appartment with free pool.. They don't have any billiard balls, but I bought my own. The only thing is there's only one table, and shitty cues.
