Re: I have a confession to make...

Give us more info, its a shame you came out the year I left.

Not that my car could keep up, but we have something in common.

Also update this thread with more details. Looks like 35R power this year?

Your friend with a VR4 on the link forums usually posts up vids of the action.

It's an HTA wheel in a 35r frame so prolly the hta3586 if I'm not mistaken (drool). It doesn't look big enough to be the hta3794.

Re: I have a confession to make...

You mean billet wheel? I don't know what material HTA is.

I'm not enough on man sized turbos to know that stuff. I'm interested to see that wastegate setup too.

Re: I have a confession to make...

Also as far as the wastegate coming out the hood Im not too concerned. I've seen other evo's with similar setups and talked with a few honda owners with similar setups and non of them seem to have issue. The car will be on E85 so that in itself cuts down on the amount of soot coming out of the exhaust.

I cant wait to see the flames shooting out the hood at night time :-D

Cars that have open dump WG sound terrible. Having it come out the hood I think will make it sound worse, but hey it might show up in the next FnF movie.

It'll go nicely with the orange wheels too.

Re: I have a confession to make...

To each their own :-) I also had a wasgate dump on my previous FP Red setup and it sounded pretty good, ask scheides.

%95 of aftermarket turbo kits utilize a dump type setup because it simple and it works

The rims are going back to black. One season of orange was enough for me lol

Re: I have a confession to make...

A couple other local 2.3 evos are reving to 9500rpm. But with that turbo I would guess 8000-8500 will be good.

Re: I have a confession to make...

Just trying to help here, it looks like power on a 6262 with a 2.3 will peak about 8500rpm anyway.

That is just what I have seen, it could be higher. Its my dream setup so I keep an eye on it.
