I picked up this shell a while back in hopes of building it. Just don't have the time or money for it right now, I'll be back in school this fall and my life situation has just changed quite a bit. That being said, I very reluctantly have to let this go. I've always wanted one of these cars, but I'm crossing my fingers that I'll come across one later. I would really like to find someone that will build this car right.
This car has a clean title, ready to be transferred to the buyer.
I am asking $750 OBO
What this car comes with:
Basically a complete car except the motor, and trans.
-Complete engine harness, pretty much everything in the engine bay besides the engine and tranny itself is still there and intact.
-EEPROM ECU
-Battery relocation kit
-radiator and fan
-grille
-trim piece
-front bumper, but is hacked/nicked up and should be replaced
-fog lights
-corner lights
-front axles, if you want them
-Almost full interior. Doesn't come with any trunk trim/carpet though.
-Good tires!
-I have other random stuff I'd include with the car.
What you will need:
-Headlights, previous ones were shattered
-Hood
-Spoiler (if you want it)
The bads:
-There is a bend on the fender/driver door where they come close together. You can see it in the picture.
-This car was backed into while parked on the street. It bent the hood and destroyed the headlights. As stated above, those need replacement
-Because of this, the rad support is tweaked just the tiniest bit. If i got in the engine bay and pushed firmly on it, I bet it'd straighten back out just fine. I will show you how minor it is if you come see it.
-The bumper support I think has been cut in half? All that is left are 2 pieces in front of each headlight. Maybe thats how these cars came. Anyway, those are pretty rusted and the foglight mounting situation doesn't look good. Needs work or replacement.
-missing the identification plate
idiot kids friend ripped it off, I tried to bribe him to find it, but he was unable I guess.
-Spoiler is missing, mounting holes have rust around them.
-In general, this car is not perfect. It is dirty, has scratches, nicks and dents. It is a project, but it is a straight shell.
-One of the tie rod ends needs replacing, I bunged up the threads getting it out (doh). Also potentially both ball joints, as I can't get the nut to fully thread onto the joint without the joint itself spinning. This is normal stuff that I've had to replace on every old mitsubishi i've had
-Some of the interior pieces are damaged. But it is all there. Interior is dirty, carpet could use a good shampooing, and leather could use a cleaning and conditioning. No tears in the leather though.
I tried to cover as much as I could. Please let me know if you have questions, want more pictures, or want to come see it. I also will deliver this car if you want it, at no extra cost.
Thanks for looking!
