my new toys :)

I have picked up a few new toys this month and last month.

1st I got a 1960 lacrosse soda machine. it was sitting out side for a few year and needed to be fully rewired. so I picked it up for 80.00 the guy wanted 150.00. got it home cleaned it all out. took out all the old wiring and rewired the whole thing. It now worked great. I also installed a free play switch so you dont have to put .10cents in it.

All it needs now for parts
main lock it is missing (still locks with a 3/8 ratch)
change door lock it is missing (came with a getto screw mod)
rebuild the changer it has a burn out noid in it

also when I got it home and open found 12.00 in change in it

it is a lacrosse 56 (holds 56 bottles)

2nd
also a 1960's lacrosse soda machine. this one was already rewired and works great. piced it up for 90.00 he wanted 135.00 for it. I am going to restore this one inside and out and sell it. It has all its locks in it also and the keys

what it needs
shelfs missing 6
changer missing reman ones are 125.00
then going to repaint it to original

it is a lacrosse 86 (holds 86 bottles)

also the other one has the same huge logo on the back of it

3rd
so last night in the shout box Pat posted a link to a mirage on CL for dirt cheap and I said dont temp me. So any way I shot the guys a text at 1145pm and went over to look at it 12am and ended up picking it up for 500.00 he wanted 600.00. the t.belt was never done has 140k on it. the belt is stripped on the crank pully so it will be a nice easy fix.

2001 mirage 1.8 auto power locks and windows

so this car is going to be ali's new D.D. and she want to make the body into a evo 4. So now I am going to start looking for some oem evo 4 parts for it. I know were to get the wing, fenders and lights already for cheap

Nice bottle machine, my dad had an old ass Coke Machine similar to that, it was in mint condition and everything worked, he posted it on Craiglist and some guy came and bought unsight unseen for $500, he had a huge Coke collection and want that thing something fierce, Those old things are cool.

Yeah I know, it was fairly beat up on the outside though in my opinion, but it cooled bottle to almost freezing. The guy didn't even care if it worked though it sounded like just wanted it for display purposes I think.

Re: my new toys :)

evo 4 looks like a nice pickup. Is that original motor an interference motor?

Wow, that's a hell of a buy on the Mirage, the little cheapies are bringing a premium right now, and gas isn't even expensive.
