Sorry all.
But I'm trying to find out what exhaust/turbo manifold I have.
Is there anyway I can tell by just looking? There has got to be a way.
I remember something about the different studs, but can't recall off of my head at the moment.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
On a 2g manifold the holes for the bolts will be flush with the runners since the manifold has more curve to it and the holes on the 1g manifold will stick up a bit since the 1g is more of a flat design. Also the 2 most outer holes will be bigger on the 2g mani.
You can see what I'm talking about with the manifold to turbo bolt holes in Ryan's pics. Although I'm not sure what's going on with the manifold to head holes on the 1g mani.. Those usually wont look like that. haha
The easiest way to tell a 1g mani from a 2g mani is to look at the number 1 runner. On a 2g, it will have a raised "ring" (as I call it) and the 1g mani will just be smooth from the head to the collector.
