Re: Full Built 1ga Part Out!
^^agreed. Not trying to stir the pot, just saying that idk if there's a buyer for a non running $5k car. I'd be interested in a couple things, as well as I'm sure others would be too.

Re: Full Built 1ga Part Out!
Just a quick word of advice. If you have the time and effort to part the whole thing out, and the room to do so, do it (it didnt require too much effort, just a couple days of pulling the parts i knew needed to be sold and the parts people were requesting). The last partout i did, i wanted to sell the car for $5000 just like you but when it crankwalked i ended up selling all of the parts at very low prices and made over $6500. I posted the partout on dsmstyle, dsmlink and dsmtuners. You probably would be able to make a lot more as i didnt have a good block, pistons or crank. Set up a spreadsheet with all of your parts, then put a column for how much you want for the parts, and how much you actually got for the parts. then keep a seperate sheet for shipping information. Youll be surprized as to how much you will get, and also how many wierd parts people want. the key is organization.
Then when everything is sold and you are happy with the end result, sell the shell to a auto recycling. (in both cars i have parted out, i havent gotten anythign for them, but they took them away for free)

So does that mean you are parting it out now? or are you still trying to sell as a whole?
