Alignment Feedback
I got an alignment done by the goodyear crew a little while back. It was shortly after getting my clutch done from Mazda. Got the car back from Mazda and it was horrible to drive. I wanted Goodyear to work it first and I got it with a spec sheet and the end result was a really nice and straight drive. They also let me know of leak under the car. So that saved me more down time with the car as well.
It look a while, but I'd rather have them take their time than rush it out. Good work and I'll be back for another check this winter.

Re: Alignment Feedback
Thanks for the kind words. I know a few others have been in off this site, and seemed pleased with their Alignment jobs, but I'll let them chime in.

Re: Alignment Feedback
So if i brought my car in with pivot type offset bushing on the front you guys should be able to adjust it? i'm more concerned with the fronts, rears just have extra washers in the top.
Once i get the engine back in the car i'll stop by for an alignment since the other guy off MNSC isn't responding to any calls.
Good to know we have someone who can actualy get it done!

Re: Alignment Feedback
Swifty, I heard you were getting a job somewhere else? WTF?
Goodyear is pretty good when it comes to custom crap, it costs money, but it is always done right.
Swifty, if you need someone to do them (if you dont trust Beaner or Chris to do it) I can do alignments for style members during the week...

Re: Alignment Feedback
I think Swift said the guy they called Beaner did mine. Was solid work. Just get a spec sheet to verify everything.

Re: Alignment Feedback
What is the price on an alignment for a 95 Stealth RT/T (forgot it was not a 3000gt)?

Re: Alignment Feedback
Maybe I will bring a car up to you guys, the jackasses at the goodyear by my house are con artists. Said I had a bad inner tie rod on a Durango, it was fine and they wanted to charge me $270 to swap it. $27 part and it took 10 minutes, easiest one I have ever seen.

That's pretty much all mechanics. I just got an oil change and had them replace a turn signal bulb at Carousel, $188. Ouch.

Re: Alignment Feedback
John - Is the 3KGT at stock ride height, or is the suspension modified at all? Let me know and I will check for you tomorrow morning.
I will honestly say that there is one guy in our shop who likes to squeeze extra bucks out of people, and it pisses me off. But our shop manager is a good guy who won't fuck people over for a few extra bucks. We both agree that what good is $100 bucks to fix something when you can make a satisfied return customer who will spend 5x that coming back to you for all their car needs? Business is business, they all need to make money. But how they do it is key.
Oh, and LOL @ turning a 1G into a Lexus but not changing a bulb

Re: Alignment Feedback
Which guy do yo uthink that is pete? I think the 3k John is talking about is the one I had the distinct privelage of working on at LSE. The red one, with black wheels, ksports. etc. assuming all is ok, The price should be the same John. 49.99 for the 4wheel alignment.

no, you didn't touch a badass car, the guys were careful of that.
SO is it just 49.99 for all alignments on cars?

Re: Alignment Feedback
Basic four wheel alignment is 49.99.
If the car is all wheel steering (some of you VR4 guys), it is 59.99.
We can adjust toe and caster with no problems. If you are looking to adjust camber, we can do that, but it will increase the price. These we need to handle on a one on one basic by the type of car.
Please PM me if you have questions. Thanks!
