Re: evoscan not working.
If you are not logging a wideband then try this, in the list of items to be logged, uncheck the wideband and giver er a go again!

Re: evoscan not working.
Restart the computer, restart the program, turn the car off then on again. I've had to use 1 of these 3 techniques every once in a while.

Re: evoscan not working.
ive done all the things both of you said, still either connects and then the program freezes, or disconnects right away.

Yes, plug in both the black AND white plug, what does the status log on the right say as you connect?
Make sure you're only logging a few things...

Not necessarily, again, what does the log on the right say? Do you only touch your car at 4am? :P

Re: evoscan not working.
I thought you said you had a Tactrix cable Jake? Doesn't EVOScan use it's own and aren't compatible with the Tactrix ones?

lol basically at 4 am give or take. it goes through all the connecting stuff, turns green for a second saying "connection successfull" then back to yellow saying "automatic recconnect attemp #x"

The Tactrix cable is the correct one for EvoScan, ECUFlash, and some other Subaru applications.

Not necessarily. Where is the cable from? Gotta have the right drivers and the right hardware, otherwise it won't work!

Re: evoscan not working.
I run evoscan myself on my 1990 eclipse Gsx
In case you didnt know, you must plug the cable in first to the cars OB2 connector, then turn on your ignition or start the car, then connect it to your laptop and run evoscan.
If you have not tried it in this order, go try it, otherwise let me know maybe I can help you out later on in the week.
