Yes Jakey, the VGT's, on the 6.0 at least, do have an electric actuator, but I cant imagine that we couldn't adapt it for use with a mechanical actuator.

It says on the ford-trucks.com forum that if it's not stuck 100% of the time that you have to pay the price to fix it, also that you can get it cleaned with a 100 dollar deductible.
