Dyno Results: 1998 GSX Spyder

Well, after 2.5 years I have finally finished the Spyder. Although it still needs a bit a tweeking I am pretty happy with the results.
It Made (DBs dyno)
486 hp
39x tq (cant remember exact)

That is (corrected numbers)
567 hp
490 tq

At that point we were just starting to run out of fuel. I currently have a single DW300 that I guess cant keep up. Drove it around tonight and it felt awesome. I couldnt get on it tooo much because if I do the powersteering/waterpump belt flys off. I have the Jay Racing relocation kit that I think is not keeping the PS pump lined up very well. I have a plan to fix it I just need to get a few parts. Anyways I am very happy to get it on the road again and hopefully get to go to some events.
A BIG thanks to Shane at DB for helping out with the tune and being patient with the issues

Re: Dyno Results: 1998 GSX Spyder

Nice numbers! My car used to throw belts when I had the water pump pulley on backwards, might be something to double check!

This thing going to be at the cookout this year so we can all drool over it?

Yea, mine wouldn't keep up either, see my thread for details. Probably was only good to around 440whp at DB on an otherwise stock X fuel system.

Re: Dyno Results: 1998 GSX Spyder

Get a bigger pump (or two) and turn up the boost!! You've got a built drivetrain, use it!!

Re: Dyno Results: 1998 GSX Spyder

I made 519 on a T67 but I bet my spool was crap compared to Mike and Steve.

Shane you should do an overlay of mine vs Mike vs Steve.
