Looks like a hack job. Everything looks like it was put together in a rush. E85 with safc? Where did you get it tuned?

Re: FS 1991 Talon Tsi AWD

196k on the body, and I tuned it myself, as far as you acting like its a big deal tuning e85 on a safc, its a big no no to do it on gas in these cars because of the agressive timing and detonation, if you run corn you need the extra timing if you don't want to burn valves and melt pistons, imo anyone with an safc in a pump gas car is commiting a far worse crime in the world of tuning than me, and if you have any doubts about my tuning abilities it pulls good and hasn't given me any problems in a couple months and a friend of mines car with a safc tuning on corn with Jordan who used to work for MAP burnt his exhaust valves out during tuning and me and my friend had to revalve his motor for him so no one can say my car is tuned bad cuz MAP and or Jordan can't seem to do any better.

And as far as not having a lower timing cover I know quite a few people with dsms on this forum with nice cars that have run around for years without one with no problems

What kind of damage is the pole covering up in that photo? Judging by the other photos of the damage on the left side, I wonder what other hidden "gems" this thing holds.

Fuel lines on the rail are secured with hose clamps! That is definitely a safe option with base fuel pressure set at "70psi" and and "30psi of boost".

Looks like a hacked up nightmare. Not to poop on your parade OP, but I'd stay away from this thing.

Fuel lines secured with hose clamps thats common. I see that on alot of DSMs just like runing your no timing covers.

Seriously though your "tuned" on corn running 27psi with 650cc @ 70 base pressure.

Re: FS 1991 Talon Tsi AWD

Lets just move this over to the general area then if this is going to be a conversation starter. If you don't like it move on then, yes it leaks oil, its a dsm, every single one I have ever seen looks like this, plus when I bought it the cams seals were gone and oil got everywhere. As far as the wiring the only two things that are messed up are the oil pressure sensor wiring and the plug for the cooling fan temp sensor. I hope the punctuation police will be satisfied with my feeble attempts to master the English language.

You know....oil can be cleaned off.

Are you Julian Hahn's friend? I seem to recognize this car somehow.
