Built Black 95 GSX in need of tranny
I have a Black 1995 GSX 5 speed with a fresh 6 bolt swap (under 5k on it eagle rods, weisco pistons, cometic head gasket, arp headstuds, all new seals, new water and oil pump, balance shaft removed), New transfer case, New alternator, APEXi full 3" exhaust, Big 16g turbo, Greddy upper piping, Greddy blow off valve, SAVCII, Turbo Timer, and the tires have NO MILES ON THEM!!! I bought new tires and fixed a couple other things and when I went to take it around the block, it wouldn't move. My mechanic took a look and said the tranny is shot. I have a baby girl in my life now and this car needs to be out of it. I could part it out for more than this so I am pretty firm on the price. PICS WILL FOLLOW SOON and NO TRADES...I already have a family vehicle.....CASH ONLY. Pretty cheap way to get in or back in to the DSM scene....I want out for now

Well you obviously didn't read the whole description because I edited my original post. I know times are tough but you really going to offer me 200......come on! Asking price is 3000. |

You should pull the tranny and let me take a look at it. I work near you if you live in Shakopee. What exactly is the tranny doing, or not doing?
Oh I see, it wouldnt move. Could just be a blown center diff.
BTW, pics would be nice.

I am pretty sure it has a hole in the transmission case. I am posting this for my brother but I can answer anything about it. I had pretty much the same car....plus a few more goodies. |

if the hole, or its leaking towards the back of the tranny, its probably your center diff, from the symptoms you have presented. The hole can be welded and the center diff can be easily replaced. Even with the tranny still in the car, as long as it didnt take anything else with it.

The car still has 1st and reverse I guess and if it was the dif, I don't think it would move at all. |
