Re: The Gun Thread
It's going through higher ups right now. ATF has already decided they'd rather fingerprint everyone (including trusts and businesses) than have signatures being misused by CLEOs.
Which is why I said hopefully within a year.

Re: The Gun Thread
Here's my AK, I got it from my uncle awhile back, I dont know all the "technical" terms but I do know it has a forged receiver rather than stamped and is a Poly Tech (if thats even decent idk haha) My uncle got it back in the early 90's. Its still in amazing shape! I love AK's and this has been my favorite one i've seen so far in person:
Sorry for the shitty first pic

That would be nice, but I am going the Trust route. That way my wife and eventually my son can also be trustees and have legal access to them.

Re: The Gun Thread
Well, I completed my AR build a couple weeks ago. I enjoyed the project and I accomplished what I wanted and my buddies and father got to shoot it so I traded it.
I ended up trading it for a Glock 21SF and some cash. I shot it today and really enjoyed shooting the 45. It's the first handgun I've owned, and shooting a pistol is a bit tricky, but I'm happy with my trade.

Re: The Gun Thread
Has anyone ever gotten to check out one of those keltec ksg shotguns? I saw one for pretty damn cheap the other day, and was wondering if any of you had experienced one.
Link to what I'm talking about, in case you don't know what I'm referring to-

Don't mind the msrp on there, I've seen them for around $5-600. Just seems like a fun gun to go burn some rounds with, or to take out any would be intruders lol.

They do look decent. I haven't heard anything about them bad or good. But I'd take a Saiga over one since I don't need to routinely switch between breaching loads and slugs.

Re: The Gun Thread
I just liked the idea of something pretty compact, its just over 26" in total, and pretty cheap. Saigas seemed to have gone through the roof in pricing lately.
I really do like Kevin's Saiga.

Re: The Gun Thread
Ooooo. A gun thread. I'm liking this forum more already. Here's my Russian Mosin Nagant 91/30 that I rebuilt. I got it for $75 at a gun show. It's a very common model and has mismatching numbers so I'm not destroying a classic.

It's a bad picture I know. Built the stock, remachined a custom mount, glassbed barrel, remachined the trigger, built the cheekpiece, and some other stuff. I can't remember...

Went and shot some skeet for the first time ever today. Only my second time shooting a (my) shot gun. Tons of fun busting clays.

I've always wanted to try skeet after shooting league trap for 12 years. Bang bang skeet Skeet.

Re: The Gun Thread
Finally picked up a M44, 1944 dated Izhmash to be exact.
I wonder if it's killed any Nazi's?
