Custom Grind Cams

I have a set of custom grind cams manufactured by Comp Cams (who manufactures for FP). They are very similar to FP3x's. The lobes between the 3x's and the custom's have a difference of .1mm or less. I have the measurements for both sets of cams from my caliper. If you're interested, PM me. They are brand new.

$300 takes both. I will not separate them.

I assure you that they are brand new. 95talonracer and EclipseGST can vouch for them, since they are the only two, besides myself, that have seen them in person on here. The pictures aren't very good at depicting that. The first pic posted is the best. The stuff on the rag is assembly lube, not oil. I decided to coat the lobes with it so they would not rust and I used the rags so that they wouldn't get damaged in the boxes. I will be sending you the specs shortly. I spoke to Comp Cams to make sure that the specs were correct. The only difference between these and FP3xs is 1 degree of duration and .004 (4 thousands) of lift.

Are these like the 272s? Can they be ran with a stock head?

Look on FP's site for the FP3x specs. They're quite a bit bigger than 272's.

And yes, they can be ran in a stock head, but I wouldn't run the stock valve springs. I do have a Crower Valve Spring kit as well, if you're interested. Never used.

so are these the equivelent of a 258 because that is what it looks like. If they are like the 280's or larger how much would you want for those and the new springs/retainers

Great person and has Quality parts. I seen the valve springs and they are BRAND NEW as well. I would buy this setup if I had not already bought mine already.

Forced Performance is a bit on the conservative side when commenting on duration. I asked the cam specialist at FP, he stated that Crower "overestimates" (for lack of a better term) their advertised duration.
