Can I fit a 1g/2g MAS back in here?

Hey guys, wondering if someone could tell me yes or no from a picture if I could fit a stock intake with 1g/2g mass+air filter in my car with my intercooler piping routed the way it is. I'm saying no, but figured I would ask just to be sure.

Nope. Even with a shorty K&N, mine goes right up into that fender cavity. It barely fits without a pipe going through there.

Why wouldn't you just route it below?

That's what the plan is probably going to be. Sell my MAF-T combo and Tial BOV for cheap and reroute my piping to go near the transmission instead of where it's at now and throw the 1g one back on and recirc. I'll know what to do when I have a 2g MAS here so I can look at how much room I have.
