I would get a SS flange, but you won't find one at any muffler shop, been there, done that. Check with DB, MAP or Heart Throb, they might have it. HT is down in southern MN, so it's possible to pick it up. If they don't have it, nobody does.

I have a 3" stainless 2 bolt exhaust flange. Not sure I'll be around this weekend though.
