98 GST Chrome 5-spoke rims

I have a set of the chrome GST rims that are still in mint condition. I bought them a number of years back and used them on a 92 TSI I had at the time for a short period during the summer before I sold the car. Still have the original Goodyear Eagle RS-A's mounted on them. If I remember correctly the tread was getting worn more on the inside and the tires would probably need replacing soon but the rims themselves and the center caps were immaculate. They were stored with the chrome center caps removed.

I have the wheels in storage but if someone is interested I'll try to get some pics taken. Not sure what these typically go for but I would say they are as close to new condition as you will find.

No peeling or curb rash of any kind. If it wasn't for the tire wear you would swear they were just unbolted from a brand new 99 gst. They are in storage about 90 minutes away but I'll try to get over this weekend and take some pictures.

If they are from a 98, why would they be bolted to a 99?

Just giving you a hard time. I have seen these rims in person (yes recently) they are absolutely beautiful. I've tried to buy them from him in the past with no luck. They were too perfect to be rid of. But since they fit no car in his bullpen, he's finally letting them go. Too little too late for me.

I'd completely agree with their value. Definately worth the money if you are looking for chrome rims for your 1g or 2g, heck they'd probably work just fine on a 3g as well.

Finally got chance to get a couple pics. I only had time to get one of them cleaned up a bit so here it is. Other three are in identicle condition to this one. No curb rash or bends whatsoever.
