1.8L shifter assy VS. 2.0L shifter assy

I was wondering if anyone knew if these were the same or if they had different stops and all that. Also is the manual pedal assy the same between these two cars. Also if anyone knows if the master cylinder is the same that could be helpful too.

And just so you know Im wondering all this because I need to do an auto to manual swap soon and if I can just canabalize my 1.8 for the manual swap parts it will make the rest of my project go that much smoother.

Thanks for any help.

All the stuff should be exactly the same. The only difference in 1G's was the 90 vs. the 91-94 stuff. Cables, shifter assembly and bracket on the tranny.

Awesome, thanks.

And just to clarify cuz I dont want to have to swap later, the 1.8 master cylinder is the same as the 2.0T? I was just thinking there would be more clutch load so maybe a bigger master.

I'm pretty sure the masters would be the same.

I do not reccomend this swap for anyone with a back problem. But if anyone has questions on how to do it I can now give first hand knowledge of the task, and pictures.
