Joe posted this in the shoutbox today, my palms were sweating just watching this, and I don't have a fear of heights.

Wow!!!
I get "cautious" when i get to the top of the cranes in a Nuke Plant. This video makes that look like childs play. Those guys have some serious cojones.

They have to be wearing parachutes for the free climb.

That's insane. What you don't see in the video but I guarantee is definitely there is a huge amount of side-to-side sway, I wouldn't be surprised if it sways 20' in either direction at that height. I could even feel it at the top of a 75' pole for zip lining, I can't imagine how much it would be at 20x that height.

I don't know if they do when they said there's no quick way down in the event of lightning. I would think that would be the way to get down every time no matter what.

True, would be a sweet ending to every day on the job. That is just crazy on a free climb, they did mention no safety backups were being used, can't believe that is allowed.

wow. watching that seriously got my hands AND feet sweaty. I remember Zip-Lining in Thailand and there was about a 75 foot tall tree that was swaying side to side....and that was quite freaky enough already. wow.

I think they get paid a lot. If you look at that watch that he is wearing, that can't be cheap.
changing one bulb on a tower i would imagine would be an all days work.
It would feel like a risky job however i bet they have very few accidents.

My old neighbor does this for a living. Not my first choice for a job.

My uncle does this for a living, I couldn't even imagine doing that for a living.. This would be perfect for someone who is a serious adrenaline junkie.
Or someone who wants to make a decent amount of money, I would imagine that they get paid pretty well.
