Maintenance:
- 4 Wheel Alignment (5/21/13).
- New Falken Allseason Tires (12/22/12).
- 60k mile maintenence completed by previous owner (timing belt, water pump, tensioner).
- Oil and filter changed at 93,000 miles with Castrol Full Synthetic Oil and Wix filter.
- Drivetrain fluid changes completed at 88,000 miles in September (transmission, transfer case, and rear differential with Redline Fluids).
- New accessory belt (9/12).
- Car will have new tabs at time of purchase so good for the next year (May).
Cons:
- Windshield has a few chips (getting brand new one installed this week)
- Some trunk interior and spare tire missing, been that way since I've owned it.
- Some dents on the car and minor rust in some spots. Definitely not a show car, but in great condition compared to some others I've seen/driven daily.
- Tint between front windows and rear windows slightly different color, different type of tint was put on the front and rears faded slightly. Not too noticeable.
- Front bumper has some scrapes on the bottom.
Looking to sell my near stock Evo. I will be very sad to see it go as it has been my dream car since the early 2000's, but I need to pay off some debt as I'm not getting any younger. Car has all maintenance up to date and has been very reliable (I would have no problem taking it cross country today if I needed to). Previous owner replaced the stock clutch with the new Comp clutch at 80,xxx miles and is very easy to drive with no slipping whatsoever. This is one of the closest examples of a stock, reliable Evo you will find out the right now. Body is in about 8 out of 10 condition (has been daily driven since owned so has some small chips, slight rust, and couple minor dents/door dings), but mechanically it is sound. Purrs perfectly from a cold start and boosts great. Gear shifting is perfect with no grinds whatsoever and buttery smooth. No whining from any drivetrain components. No burning of fluids or leaks on this car. Interior is basically stock down to the factory cd player. Previous owner dyed the stock Recaro seats black and painted some of the interior trim black as well (not overdone, looks great). Some spills/stains on the seats from previous owner, just recently got interior cleaned and seemed to help a decent amount.
I bought this car to be a fun daily driver and it has been just that. I get compliments all the time on how it looks/sounds. Asking 16k and fairly firm on the price as I believe it's worth every penny. I do have a lien on the car currently, but it is with a local credit union. If I have a buyer, the lien card will be provided same day after loan is paid off so no worries about scams. Have title in hand that can be signed over same day as well.
