97 Eclipse GSX (auto)
Selling my 97 GSX (auto) 130k miles
This car was "built" with the best parts I could find and I originally planned on "sparing no expense" on my 16g weekend warrior. It was my DD for over a year and I put on probably 20k. Unfortunately, the engine went and the car is at MAP (needs a new shortblock).
This car has no rust that I'm aware of and didn't smoke or burn anything until it blew. Probably a moot point since it's dead now but FYI I guess. No electrical problems with the exception of a taillight with one dead bulb and the driver door doesn't always trigger the dinging sound when the lights are on
Upgrades w/ < 1,000 miles:
- *mint* Evo3 16g, rebuilt by Justin from DSMTuners
- FP mani
- VRSF FMIC
- Apexi N1 muffler (about 100 miles)
- Injen intake
- AEM wideband + Autometer Boost/Volt
- Apexi SAFC-II
I used the 16g install kit from Extreme Psi and new mani bolts from FP. All of the parts (minus SAFC) have less than 1k miles on them. Still have the receipts from MAP/ExtremePsi.
I haven't decided whether I want to sell it or fix it. But for someone that actually knows what they're doing, I imagine this would be a good project car.I was off to a very good start, so I guarantee you won't be inheriting a rats nest of wires or anything
I'm asking $2,500 but am open to reasonable offers.
