Max Boost on stock hardware/hg

Hey guys, new here. I just got a td05h/20g with 750cc injectors.. I have all stock hardware/head, but the engine was checked for tolerances about a year ago. My compression is 125 psi in all cylinders, if it matters. Anyways, like the title says, what would be the max boost I could run for this setup?

125 psi is getting down there. I wouldn't run more than 23 psi with ARP head studs in it. I would put a set in. More boost is going to accelerate the demise of your engine though, which seems to be on the downhill slide.

120 or less = service line correct? ( at least 6 bolts)

I'd say get arps and a new hg first because I blew mine out on 19 psi and no arps. I wouldn't recommend it, but I heard on here before though that the stock headbolts can hold 30 psi though.

I would take your head off, get a valve job done, since that is probably the cause of your low compression, put some arps in and a metal head gasket and you will be good for as much boost as you wish.

Re: Max Boost on stock hardware/hg

I'm doing 25+psi on my stock stuff. Been doing it for about a year now. I think the motor is starting to give and I'm starting to stretch it. My compression is 180 all across (2g pistons) except for cylinder #2 at 165psi. I'm going to boost mine till it blows. It's up to you.
