"GizmoVR4 and I took the trip to Etown on sunday to make an attempt at the Galant VR4 record and were lucky enough to succeed in busting down that door.

We run Powermist RE85L fuel. FIC 2150's & Aeromotive A1000
No nitrous at all.
Automatic awd, re-stalled converter, shep xcase, dss driveshaft, dss rear axles
M&H 26x8.5x15 slicks on ARE 15x6" wheels.
shifted with a adjustable RPM box & ForcedFour mitsu shift box.
Total weight: 3235 on Etown's scale with driver. Car is about 3000 even."

"We are pretty familiar with 1062, he has us in a huge way with weight and likely power (since he's running a gt42)...just look at him out-trapping us by 10+. I think he said his car was 2400ish, while this car is 3000 without driver. If he gets his car to 60's reasonably and can keep it from breaking, I don't think we have anything for him. Granted, stick trans suck and he's been running on radials, so who knows what will happen next year."
