Re: Fancy Beer!
I drank the Boom Island Yule last night. Poured darker than I thought it would. Had a suttle sour cherry smell and after taste. I will definitly buy it again. Was a good strong, dark and spiced Belgian. Rachael deemed it a cross between hers and my style of beer.

Re: Fancy Beer!
Why does everyone have such a huge boner over Old Rasputin? It's not that great, IMHO

Its a good quality Russian Imeperial Stout that is relativily inexpensive and easy to get a hold of. Most of the beers on that list were beers you can get all year round and aren't hard to find.

Re: Fancy Beer!
I agree, it's decent, and available year round for a reasonable price. But some people rave about it like it's the best Russian Imperial out there. It's better quality than most, but it's nothing spectacular.

Re: Fancy Beer!
The creme brulee was one of the best beers I've ever had. I love high ABV beers

Re: Fancy Beer!
Had one of these last night: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/335/5428
Holy shit strong tasting beer. It's aged in bourbon barrels, so it has a wicked strong bourbon taste to it with a hint of vanilla. Was like a Guinness with a shot of bourbon and a teaspoon of vanilla in it. 10% abv though. I don't much like bourbon, so I didn't care much for it.

Re: Fancy Beer!
I had some Bells Expedition Stout this weekend! It was nicely aged and not nearly as bitter as I was expecting (based on some of the reviews).

Crispin is decent, but Angry Orchard is the shit! That stuff is awesome. I have been looking for a good cider for almost 20 years, every since I had some in England. Woodchuck is pretty gross.
