Origional Keys

Who here has their origional key to their DSM? It's just a stupid curious thought I got when I was looking at my keys and noticed that all were different. I am also kind of wondering what the origionals even look like.

Re: Origional Keys

The ORIGINAL keys have a black / half a stop sign looking top. The key itself is obviously the exact same as a copy.

Well I guess I don't know for sure but I've had alot of DSM's and most of them have had this same exact style key.

I still have two OEM keys that came with the car, not mint for my 90 Laser.

Re: Origional Keys

I still got an oem key for my quest. Looks exactly the same as the replacement key I got from wayzata mitsu a few years ago, but it doesn't have the word mitsubishi on it.

I wish my oem key was in better shape, but it is really worn down, and all the sharper edges are rounded off.

Re: Origional Keys

I still have the original keys for my 2g, but I think one is bent sort of.. I think that is quite common though, at least in the 2g keys. The one I use everyday is fairly mint though.

Re: Origional Keys

I like how the title to this thread is spelled wrong. I believe "Original" is how you spell it. And yes I still have the factory key but I don't use it, because of how beat up it is.

Re: Origional Keys

That is honestly one of the words to this day no matter how many times I spell it, it always is wrong.
