2g ecu in a 1g?

ok so we just finnished up this car. it was a full rebuild on the motor with all new components and when we went out to go set the rings and start breaking it in we fried the ecu on our second 3000-5000 pull. and i was wondering if a 2g ecu would work in a 1g? the car is a 90 and i was just wondering because i know the 2g's are fast ecu's and nicer to work with

no you have to run a 90 ecu in it or change some of the ecu pins to run a 91-94 ecu
also 2g is obd2 not obd1 like 1g's

If you need an ECU I have one out of a 93 GSX. But, it is eprom and socketed so the cost will not be low. LMK if you are interested.
