Josh's 97 GSX

Well, my search for a new project 2g is over. I picked up this Barcelona Red Pearly beauty this weekend from a friend of a member (Dark2g). It came with a nicely built 2.4l and an older FP 3065 tuned by DB. Granted it has a few issues like a small oil leak that I have to pinpoint, bad shift linkage and a kinda beat interior. Nothing that can't be dealt with seeing how its not my daily.

I'll keep everyone posted on whats going down with the changes that are made to bring this thing back to mint condition!

Right??! I also have a bb FP Black in my closet just in case I decide a little step up is necessary in the future. Its staying on the conservative tune until I replace the ebay junk intercooler and piping.

For the interior, I just got done restoring badly worn leather seats on a Volvo XC90 and they look like new. I used a leather dye cream I got at a boat interior place by my work in Brooklyn Park. Might work well for you if you have leather. If you have cloth, I'd replace them with leather anyways.

I have a grey leather pass side seat if you want it.

These are tan but I do appreciate the offer, amigo. I'm just stoked to have something to tinker with again. I'll be diagnosing the oil leak this weekend which should be fun. Also the factory oil pressure gauge stopped working which I can only assume is that shitty ass sensor going out so its time to order an AEM unit which it needed badly anyways.
