Yes, it goes in and back out to the same point, but thats it, also if I start with it out and get the car up to 2k in 5th, about 40mph it goes back it all by itself, also when I turn the broken side the driverside turns the same direction. I am used to AWD and thought they should spin opposite? I am going to go hold the tire and see if I can spin the broken side. But I think the front diff is toasted.
Here is the passanger side floor pan, where the lower control arm bolts to the rust.

And here is the driver side, lower control arm mount and the torsion bar both are about to fall off.

And this is how far I have to hold the wheel to go straight. It is about 90deg to the left, but the car loves turning right, I dont need to hold the wheel to go around a clover leaf (right hand), the wheel is straight but the car turns around a clover leaf....
