Up for sale today is my dad's 1997 Toyota Camry LE. He's been driving it daily for the last three years, and now that my two brothers have finished college moved out, my dad is looking for something more comfy and suited to his tastes. He's thinking of buying a Lexus or Subaru these days. As a result, my parents want me to sell it for them.
The car has 157K on the odometer. It has received regular oil changes every 4.5K, and has a K&N drop in filter in the airbox, also has the factory alloy wheels. The timing belt and water pump, which should be done every 75K, was done at 129K at Primo Performance by myself and Swifty about two years back. The power steering and drive belt were replaced at the same time. The battery was replaced by me a two years back as well.
The oil pan has a pansaver style contraption in it, which has never been a big deal to us - it came to us from the last owner like that. The front bumper was repainted at one point, and was not a perfect color match. It's not very noticeable from far away though. There are a few chips and dings here and there, but nothing very huge. A very small spot of rust is starting by the right rear wheel well. The radio option is the radio option only, which has always been fine with my dad, since he doesn't listen to anything other than radio. There is a check engine light, but it is just for an evap/atmospheric code. Probably a gas cap or something of the sort, we've never bothered to deal with it. No other codes other than than that one.
It's a solid, dependable daily car, and always starts and gets you from A to B. Asking $2800, but of course, feel free to make an offer. No trades.
