Re: SSQV BOV help

Put what little filter in line, JET? but anyways I did a boost leak test today and everything is fine, no leaks to be found. Anyone have any other ideas what could cause the problem?

Re: SSQV BOV help

Swifty, please make a new thread. There are also a couple of threads that have already talked about this. Do a search for SSQV. I don't want this thread to get too far off topic. Thanks!

There is a little black round thing with a nipple on each end. This is a filter/buffer that should to inline to the SSQV. It helps to buffer any pressure waves going to the BOV and keep it from falsely going off.

If don't have those lines all clamped/zip tied tight, they are going to blow open and pop your BOV. Did you ever do that?

Re: SSQV BOV help

Not really sure but I believed it had to do with my MBC being stuck closed. But after testing for boost leak i disconnected and reconnected the MBC, re-zip tied all the lines and tighten the clamps and *poof* problem solved :P. I know that sounds weird but I'm just glad I solved the problem hehe.
