A/C Compressor

I am looking for a broken or working one VERY cheap. I need one so I can cut the bracket out for my axle. Or any ideas on what people have done instead only as long as it is good.

Re: A/C Compressor

That would be exactly what I need. What about the half shaft or bearing that I need as well? The bearing on mine is shot from only being held in by one bolt and bad spacing.

that extra space from a/c bracket removal, just add some washers and be done. also you would want to add a lock washer behind that nut.

Re: A/C Compressor

Get one of the brackets from TKRperformance. You can do washers, but then any time you need to pull the axle you have to keep track of them. If you use a cut part of the factory bracket you can just use the axle bolt hole and the one above it, which will keep it in place when you have to pull the axle.

If for some reason you actually need a compressor and not just the bracket I should have one around. No brackets in my garage though.

Re: A/C Compressor

I used washers which I hated. I have no need for a compressor thank. Full A/C removal here. I didn't know at the time if the bracket was apart of the compressor or not.

Where would I find the bearing for the axle I need replacing? Dealer maybe? I tried oreily but they sucked.
