Hydrodipping Evo 8 Parts

I figure I should share this info I found here too. I found there is a shop near my place in Ramsey that does hydrodipping. I checked it out last week and discussed parts for my Evo and bikes. It's pretty much just like paint and takes on the qualities of whatever paint, high heat enamel, etc. It costs about the same as powder coating but gives the extra detail of airbrushing. He had some photos of some complicated parts that turned out awesome:


I ended up getting work done on my valve cover, spark plug cover, and a couple interior trim pieces already, done this week. He took care of everything; blasting, prep, paint, and hydrodipping the parts. The dude's name is Zach Kurth, at Top Shelf Tires.
