SAFC II Not Right...

I put in my SAFCII in this winter and when I finally got my car working I noticed that the RPM is WAY off. When my tach says im going at 2500 RPMs the SAFCII says 1500 RPMs. And when Im idle at like 1000 RPMs it was like 500-600 RPMs. Did I do something wrong? Im almost 100% sure I hooked the right wires up and connected it with solder.

You probably have a setting in the AFC wrong. Re-check your settings.

Re: SAFC II Not Right...

Make sure your cylinder select is two and not four or your tach will double.

Re: SAFC II Not Right...

S-AFC instructions:
4 cylinder type arrow up towards the right (that is throttle setting).
Karmen vortex meter type
high/low throttle points usually around 25%, 75%
No december air settings.
That is all I remember off the top of my head. If your tach is off by about 100 or so rpm, its your gauge, not the s-afc.
