7 bolt parts on a 6 bolt?

When putting a 6 bolt block into a 2g am I supposed to use the accessories off the 6 bolt or can I use parts off the 7 bolt block. It is going to have the 2g head.
Can I use the 7 bolt aluminum cover (left) or do I have to use the 6 bolt (right)

Im wondering due to the crank sensor on the 2g that isn't on the 1g and the and since I'm using the 2g head it wont have the crank angle sensor (correct me if I'm wrong)
Also which plastic cover would I use?

Most mounting holes appear to be in the same location, but this is a first for me so I'm still a little lost.

I found this link but it doesn't seem to mention using a 2g head http://www.dsmtalk.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2273646

Use the 6 bolt aluminum cover/front case and 6 bolt timing cover. You will need to trim the timing cover to clear the motor mount.

But then what do I do about the crank sensor that isn't on the 6 bolt cover?

You can replace the stock 2g cam/crank sensors with a 1g style CAS on back side of the cam. Both RRE and Magnus sell an adapter for about $70-$80 that will plug the 1g CAS into both the stock 2g cam/crank plugs. I made my own but ended up buying one a few weeks later. They have a wiring diagram if you want to make your own.

I would read this: http://magnusmotorsports.com/wp-cont...02/1gina2g.pdf
It explains everything you need to do in detail. You use all the 2g motor/tranny mounts but you have to modify the drivers side one a little by grinding it down.
