Re: Our new project car has arrived...
It fits! No spacer required Big thanks to the guys at SLS for pulling this off for us so late in the game!
Doesn't look like it is fitting under the hood though lol.

Re: Our new project car has arrived...
For those of us that are not going to the Shootout, and not likely to be in your shop any time soon. Post some pics of the car. I'm not sure when the Shootout is, but at least post pics when that is over.

Re: Our new project car has arrived...
I will definitely post pics, SLS already got a sneak preview We just want to keep it under wraps until after the shootout which is the 19th of this month.
I strongly encourage you guys to swing by if you are in the area, there is a lot of fun stuff to look at

Re: Our new project car has arrived...
Engine Internals...
Kiggly main girdle brace, ARP main studs, Eagle crankshaft

O-Ringed block

Pauter connecting rods

Custom Wiseco 2.4l pistons (bad picture, but you can still see the thick side skirts, .5" deck, HP wristpins, and thick ring lands)

Big thanks to Brian @ Wiseco for his help with this build!

To turn some heads and spark some interest. It seems like you have to be running mid 8's for that to happen these days. It's about time the world found out what we are capable of with a little money invested. Our budget race car runs 9's, this one should be a little quicker
Oh yeah, we also want to show the so-called "big dawgs" of the MN streets how we roll

To win what? According to their post, the turbo is not allowed in whatever class Rau is in, so who will they run against?
Looking good guys, if someone were to stop by the shop would they be able to see said car or is that off limits too?

Re: Our new project car has arrived...
Our main goal right now is to get it down the track and make sure everything (rear end excluded) is done correctly.
We talked about possible pro class racing eventually. We would probably end up doing a 10.5in DOT tire class if we ever decided to do pro racing.
